Absolutely. The PhD Urban* Mobility Day is open to all PhD researchers at TUM whose work connects to mobility, cities, and transformation — whether your background is in planning, engineering, design, or the social sciences.

We’d love to hear your bold ideas in mobility research and offer a space for open, informal exchange across chairs. Come join us in tackling the big urban mobility challenges of our time.

What can I expect?

A friendly, informal afternoon to meet fellow researchers. A keynote on transdisciplinary mobility research (~20 min). Poster pitches to share your work in an engaging, accessible way — use plain language for a general audience. A graffiti walk where peers leave creative feedback directly on your poster. A fishbowl discussion to exchange perspectives across disciplines. Poster awards to celebrate inspiring contributions. And finally — drinks and networking to wrap up the day together.

Heads up: your posters will not survive untouched — expect them to be covered in insightful graffiti and spontaneous feedback by the end of the event.
